Bills made some moves this week

The Bills have made some transactions this week. Adding a receiver and a linebacker and one to the practice squad.

On Tuesday, free agent WR Deonte Thompson (6’0″ – 204 lbs).  He worked out with the team Tuesday morning and was signed later that afternoon. He spent parts of 2014 and 2015 with the Bills. He will wear #10.

The Bills released RB Joe Banyard.

On the practice squad, the Bills signed safety L.J McCray. He was most recently with the Panthers organization. Originally a undrafted free agent of the 49ers in 2014 and appeared in 22 career games.

The Bills released OL Jordan Mudge and DL Marquavius Lewis.

On Wednesday, the Bills were awarded a wavier claim for LB Tyrell Adams. He was recently with the Oakland Raider, but was released after the signing of Navarro Bowman.

To make room on the roster, the Bills released LB Deon Lacey.
