BUFFALO, NY: Earlier today, the Bills and QB T.J Yates agreed on an injury settlement and has been taken off Injured Reserve.
Yates, 30 was suffering through a concussion. Last week, they signed QB/WR/ST Joe Webb to the 53-man roster and will take Yates’ place on the depth chart.
The Bills added another linebacker to the roster. Signing veteran LB Jelani Jenkins.
Jenkins, 25, signed with the Oakland Raiders in free agency last spring. The fifth-year veteran was competing to become the starting weak side linebacker for the Raiders before he was placed on injured reserve by the club on Sept. 2nd
To make room for him on the roster, they have cur CB Greg Mabin. The practice squad got a new face today. By signing WR Malachi Dupre.
Dupre was seventh-round pick out of LSU by the Green Bay Packers this past April, but did not make the Packers 53-man roster. To make room, they have cut WR Daikiel Shorts
